My name is Ekipa - initiator of Walk the Moon with over 10 years of facilitation, management, technology, and commercials business experience and a lived passion for transformational change.
Before starting Walk the Moon, I gained my expertise in team performance management when I was leading commercial teams. After this, I chose to focus purely on people development as a facilitator in power skill and personal leadership programs. The years I worked for Oracle as a Sales Consultant contributed to in-depth knowledge of data-driven operations and digital transformations.
Having grown up between Africa and The Netherlands, accompanied by other international moves I developed a global mindset, approaching the world with different perspectives. This reflects strongly in both my personality and belief that change contributes to development, therefore something to be embraced.
My experiences have enabled me to become a confident leader with a creative approach, that easily creates deeper connections and is always up for an intellectual challenge. I’m driven by the limitless desire to explore, learn and grow, and above all, to help others do the same.

Walk the Moon was born from the belief that everyone should shoot for their own ‘moon’ while remaining open to the new, uncharted paths that will get you there. It’s my way of translating this belief and learnings to a working context, through empowering organisations and the individuals within them to realise and achieve their fullest potential. ​
